Three things in this order that trip people up

More Perks is seven plugins, not one

The base ESM, More Traits, four DLC add-ons and their update ESPs all come from the same Nexus page. Each add-on needs its matching Update plugin loaded after it, which is why they appear in two separate runs — masters first, updates later.

Interior Lighting Overhaul needs its YUP patch

ILO - YUP Patch.esp reconciles the two, and Interior Lighting Overhaul - Ultimate Edition.esp must load after the core ESMs. ILO does a lot of the work that NVR's interior shadow cubemaps then light — if interiors look flat, check this pair loaded.

Nevada Skies goes last

Weather plugins overwrite the lighting and imagespace records that everything before them set. It is also the mod most likely to fight the preset over night brightness: if nights read wrong, change Nevada Skies' own settings before touching the exposure values in the config.
