Yukichigai Unofficial Patch — YUP
Yukichigai, maintained by sandbox
Thousands of base game and DLC bug fixes, and nothing else. The rest of the list is patched against it.
Main Files → YUP - Base Game and All DLC
New Vegas Reloaded 4.4.0 · preset 1.1.0
Every mod running alongside this preset, in install order, with its download page.
This is the list the screenshots were taken with. Read it top to bottom and install it top to bottom — the order below is already the MO2 left-pane order, lowest priority first, ending with the preset itself.
Nothing here is required by the preset except the four depth plugins marked NVR. Everything else is taste — but taste that the grade was tuned against, so swapping the weather or texture mods will shift how it looks.
Script extender plugins and engine fixes. Everything else assumes these are present, and four of them are what New Vegas Reloaded reads the depth buffer through.

02
jazzisparis, LuthienAnarion
Over a thousand script functions plus engine fixes. Also provides FalloutCustom.ini and BSA override support.
Main Files → JIP LN NVSE Plugin, and JIP LN Settings INI
03
c6, carxt, lStewieAl, WallSoGB
Second large script extender plugin. Several mods below will not load without it.
04
Demorome
More functions, plus engine-level tweaks and bug fixes.
Main Files → ShowOff NVSE, Optional Files → ShowOff INI
05
Jokerine, Roy Batty and others
Fixes in the same territory as YUP but implemented through NVSE and JIP LN. Loads after YUP.
06
Sweet6Shooter, Roy Batty
Cleans and optimises thousands of records in the vanilla ESMs. Installs through its own installer, not a normal archive — point it at an empty mod folder inside MO2's mods directory.
07
carxt, Tgspy, lStewieAl, WallSoGB
Fixes the engine clocks and memory handling. Set bModifyDirectXBehavior = 1 in NVTF.ini — New Vegas Reloaded needs it.
Main Files → NVTF, and NVTF - INI
08
jazzisparis
Keeps HUD extensions from overwriting each other. Required by The Mod Configuration Menu.
09
lStewieAl
Several hundred toggleable fixes and quality-of-life options, configured from a Tweaks entry added to the main menu.
10
lStewieAl
Stops save files growing every time an actor notices you. Saves get smaller and load faster.
11
lStewieAl
Rewrites slow engine routines. Cuts loading and saving time.
12
Sweet6Shooter, carxt
Raises the file handle limit and speeds up loading even well below it. With a texture pack and full LOD, you want this.
13
WallSoGB
Builds cell offsets on startup so the game stops scanning every plugin on each cell change. First launch is slower, everything after is not.
14
WallSoGB
Swaps in a current zlib. Only does anything if you actually have compressed archives or plugins.
15
WallSoGB, lStewieAl
Stops depth of field bleeding onto the viewmodel. Required by Depth Resolve.
16
WallSoGB
Fixes distant geometry flickering from depth buffer precision loss. Required by Depth Resolve.
17
WallSoGB
Lets the engine load shaders from loose files. Required by Depth Resolve.
18
Pr0bability
Resolves the real depth buffer instead of rendering a fake one. Large win wherever depth of field runs, and the foundation several NVR passes read from. Install the three plugins above first.
19
lStewieAl
Fixes the framerate drop while attacking an enemy with a visible health bar.
Main Files → Fast Weapon Lag Fix
Nothing here touches rendering. Swap or drop any of it without affecting the preset.
20
Kyung-Bum Lee (dree74)
Adds 120+ perks and traits. The DLC add-ons and More Traits are separate downloads on the same page — this list uses the base file, More Traits, and the Companions, Dead Money, Honest Hearts and Old World Blues add-ons.
21
nccvoyager
Raises the cap and gives a perk each level. The engine gets unstable past level 99, which is why the level 99 file (LVL99PEL.esp) is the one installed here.
22
ElPascal, Kazopert
Travellers, patrols and scripted consequences across the Mojave. It puts NPCs on the roads at night, which is where this preset earns its keep.
NVR renders on top of whatever these leave behind, so this is the layer most likely to need a taste adjustment after install.
23
WallSoGB
Makes the moon cast the light at night instead of the sun. Matters here: NVR's night shadow direction follows it.
24
Pr0bability
Specular lighting and per-pixel fog on terrain, and raises the terrain point light limit from 3 to 24.
Main Files → Vanilla Plus Terrain, Optional Files → Vanilla Plus Terrain - Textures
25
Pelinor
One settings menu for every mod that registers with it. Needs UIO. NVR does not use it — NVR has its own menu on the O key.
26
Sarge198, Killergrimm
Rewrites interior lighting and adds fixtures. Pairs with NVR's interior shadow cubemaps, which is where the 1024 cubemap size in the Ultra preset gets spent.
27
weijiesen, jonnyeah
Energy weapon effects, explosions, impacts and crit-kill scenes. Use the alternate main file if the first one refuses to install under MO2.
28
Antistar
Three weapon mod slots on every weapon. The WMX-EVE merged patch on the WMX page is what keeps it friendly with EVE.
29
MyGoodEye
Adds working lights across the Mojave. This is where the sodium lamps in the night screenshots come from — without it, NVR's night point light shadows have far less to work with.
30
vurt, Marcurios
Over a hundred new desert plants and trees with 3D LOD. Heavy on tree count — the first thing to drop if you are GPU bound.
31
NeilMc_NMC
The landscape and building retexture this list is graded against. It must not overwrite generated LOD — keep it below your LOD output in priority.
Distant detail. NVR draws shadows and parallax onto this geometry, so the further it reaches, the more the preset has to render.
32
ElminsterAU, Sheson, Zilav
LOD meshes and textures plus FNVLODGen.esp. This list runs the classic FNVLODGen workflow, where that plugin stays enabled; newer guides using xLODGen hide it instead.
33
Yossarian, Anro24
Weather and sky. It ships its own night lighting values, so if nights read wrong after install, check Nevada Skies before you touch the preset.
34
WallSoGB
Removes the engine's LOD limits and adds specular and animation support to distant objects.
Main Files → LOD Fixes and Improvements, and its INI
35
Low-poly models for objects the vanilla LOD ignores entirely.
36
pilamin
Distant models for vehicles, roads, barricades and most of the rocks. Regenerate LOD after installing it.
37
biohazard19x
A better distant mesh for the boarded casino at Primm. The author now points people at TCM's LOD Overhaul (mod 70155) as the broader replacement.
38
installed as a local MO2 mod
High-resolution LOD textures, sitting at the top of the LOD block so it wins those conflicts. This one is named after its MO2 folder rather than a mod page, so search Nexus for the exact package you used.
Highest priority in the left pane. Everything above it is what it renders.
39
TES Reloaded team; preset by StixsworldHD (StixsmasterHD4k)
The archive on this site. Contains NVR 4.4.0 unmodified plus the tuned configuration. Place it below every other graphics mod so nothing overwrites nvse/Plugins.
Also present
Alongside those 39 mods, MO2 lists the nine DLC and
FalloutNV_lang as unmanaged content. They sit at the top of the pane, cannot be
reordered, and need no action — they are the game itself.
Landscape_Seam_Fix.esm and TreePositions.esp ship inside one of the
terrain and LOD packages above rather than as separate downloads. If you need to know which,
open MO2's Data tab and hover the file — it names the owning mod.
This list runs the classic FNVLODGen workflow, which is why FNVLODGen.esp,
MuchNeededLOD.esp and tmzLODadditions.esp are enabled rather than
hidden. If you follow the newer Viva New Vegas LOD guide with
xLODGen instead, it will tell you to hide those three and generate afterwards. Either approach
works; do not mix them.
Whichever you use, generated LOD must end up below your texture packs in priority. NMC's in particular will overwrite LOD atlases and leave the distance looking broken.
